Ho Ho Ho!
The time of holiday reckoning has come. Are you being naughty and haven't shipped yet, or are you being nice, and got your gift out in plenty of time? ;)

The list below consists of names of people who have not yet told me they shipped. The deadline was yesterday

Please remember that you also need to email me to tell me when you've RECIEVED your gift as well.

I've been replying to all emails as I recieve them, to make sure you know they were recieved, and I'll continue to do so.

And please, as I said above, I MUST recieve an email from you. That means no PMs, or IMs, or IRC notes; with eighty different people, they're far too easy to lose track of.

just wanted to make sure, as i'm still on the list, did you get my mail?!?

punkoffgirl

We're getting down there!

I switched email programs tonight to straighten out the issues I was having. My old program was "eating" the messages in a way. They were disappearing without me even reading them; once I installed the new program and imported everything, I was able to read em just fine.

SO! Please remember to continue emailing me as you recieve the gifts from your Santa, they should start arriving left and right now :) Looks like *crosses fingers* we have an awesome possibility of everyone getting in under the deadline for maybe the first time ever!

Yeah, I was thinking that as well. Perhaps Joe got me and is too busy packaging up my Xbox 360!

I've had a horrible case of the flu for awhile there. :/

But I think my receipient will forgive the delay when he/she opens the box. ;)

Are you going to be posting a list of everyone who has received their gifts? It would be nice to see when gifts arrive so we don't have to worry up until Christmas about if the stuff got there or not.

We should be able to do this on our own... werent we supposed to choose a shipping option with tracking info???

I know I can check the status of my package I sent out

I hope your pkg this year was as great as the year you were my SS- I still remember all that PS1 stuff come pouring out of the box. 8-)

& I "third" the feeling of surprise at some of the names on the list. :eek 2: But I'm sure/hope you all have your reasons...

There was nothing in the rules about how something should be shipped.

And I'm not so sure that it's possible for those who had to ship internationally to get tracking info, although feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Tracking information was not mandatory for precisely the reason you've stated, Aussie, although it's always been strongly recommended for those able to do it. The cost of shipping something overseas via a trackable method is prohibitive to many people.

I'll be compiling a list of who has notified me that they've received their gifts sometime this weekend. As of right now, I have 24 people marked as receiving their packages out of 82 participants.

Mine arrived today and I know who it is since they put it on the package. LOL I will not open the box and spill the beans until we are supposed to.

Yeah, my package cost $40 AUS to send WITHOUT the tracking info! I had no idea it would cost that much. It was worth it though, I had a lot of fun finding stuff for my SS. :)

You know, I'm pretty disappointed. I've sent PMs, which I KNOW they read, because they're in my sentbox now, and I've sent emails that I have no idea if they read, and I still haven't heard anything from either of these two people:

Suppafly

It would take less than a minute to tell me what's going on, if you've shipped yet or not, so I can either make other arrangements to make sure everyone gets a gift, or I can let the person you got know if their gift is going to be late or not.

You can put me down in your "received" column.

punkoffgirl
12-18-2005, 10:05 PM
On second thought.. I'm going to wait to start the "received" list on here until I get final confirmation from the two remaining people on the "to ship" list. Then I'll start a whole new thread, so as not to get the two mixed up. Okay with everyone?

The only problem with that plan is if you don't hear from both by Christmas...and time is drawing incredibly short. Perhaps we should grab our torches and march on them like angry villagers from Frankenstein?

I doubt pigpiling on them will help them any, but perhaps the incentive of knowing people are waiting on them might help speed things along (although I have heard from them both at this point, I don't believe either package has been shipped). At the very least, I do have a backup plan if things go completely south (which I don't anticipate happening). Thanks for your concern!

Mine was shipped the other day, although I think I forgot to say who I was to my recipient. I had a xmas card for him to go along with it, but forgot to add it in the package :( Oh well, I'm sure he'll be happy with what he gets (I hope!)

I received mine today, can it's sitting under the tree begging to be opened :) Must hold back!
