Remember the good ol' days of Ms. Pac Man, Asteroids and Atari? When arcade games cost a quarter and you begged your mom for the latest cartridge for your 2600? While video games today are bigger and more popular than ever, the Northwest Classic Gaming Enthusiasts haven't forgotten about the low-tech fun from the 70's, 80's and 90's.

Hit the reset button and join us for NWCGE 2K6, Saturday, Feb 25th, 2006 in Seattle, Washington. Come see the beginnings of the video game industry and how it has evolved from the early days of Pong and Atari to today's present system offerings from Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft. Play, compete for prizes, and meet gaming fanatics just like YOU. In addition, you'll be able to buy, sell, and trade videogames of all different systems. Mark your calendar!

Saw earlier today that Packrat's going to have a NEW ODYSSEY2 GAME at this hoedown shindig of the west. Now what's not to love about that?

Well... I've been wanting to go. But I woke up late today and it's already 2:30. The show's from 10-5pm and costs 10 bucks.

By the time I get there at this rate it'll be close to 4:00... should I go? :?

My compliments to the NWCGE crew for hosting another great event at the Holiday Inn in Seattle. The event was bigger and better, with the highlights being the championship and a presentation by 2600 designer and programmer Joe Decuir! There was tons of stuff for sale at great prices. Everyone had a blast and I even won a prize (it just figures I had to leave the championship early and Chris, who took my spot, went on to win the whole contest!).

Once again, thanks a bunch and job well done guys. I look forward to next year!
