I sold some N64 games on ebay the other day... and I got this message for the guy who bought Super Mario 64...
hi ,ive been trying to get ahold of you in making a
error in regards buying the super, when i really wanted
the smash mario, can we work things out, please respond, thanks
So now what should I do? This guy seems like an idiot. Should I tell him that he bid on the item so he has to pay, give a second chance offer, or should I just tell him I will have to give him an upaid item strike?
Also how does a second chance offer work? Does that member pay what they bid, or do they pay what the game ended up going for?

Suggestions for bidded:
1. bided
2. bedded
3. boded
4. beaded

9. bidets
10. Biddle
11. bidder
Actually, forget the suggestions....just go with "bid". ;)

Edited the first post, there are you happy?
To be honest I didn't even realize that I typed it that way until I read it over again.
Anyways, got any real help for my situation? :)

Yes.
Real help? Just relist it, sell it to the next highest bidder if they want it, whatever you want to do. What do you want us to say? This sort of thing happens all the time, it's not really a unique situation.
Second chance offers are for what that person bid, not what the auction actually ended for.

The guy still deserves a Non-payer Strike. Teach him to read more carefully - else he'll do it to someone else!!

No offense and I know this is the Everything eBay forum but why does every ebay transaction gone bad have to have it's own thread lately, even if it's for issues that have been discussed over and over before?
You have a winning bidder who's now having second thoughts. This happens all the time on eBay and it's been brought up here numerous times already as well. Just use the search tool and review all the previous post's we've had about this same topic for all the advise you'll ever need.
But truthfully, I don't even understand why you'd need anyone else's help with this. You basically have two options; let it slide and relist it or try hold him to his bid and risk the negative feedback. There's really nothing more too it. Choose the option that you can live with.

Sorry. :( Guess there's no need to post at all. It's all been said. ;)

Really there isn't. If it's been discussed before and the answer is right there waiting for you to look it up then what's the point in asking the same question over and over and over.
In every other forum on this website threads are locked if they're the same as previous posts. Why should this forum be any different?

Well I for one Griking am glad that you are not a moderator here. Sure this subject has been covered before. All you need to do is ignore posts that don't interest you. It's really that simple.

Hmmm, just ignore posts that don't interest me. I'll have to remember that one.
