Anyone know why or when exactly the Saturn game Mystaria: Realms of Lore was changed to Blazing heroes ??

because Mystaria is a location in Dungeons & Dragons and apparently they didn't much like someone else using it without permission.
Don't know if the game was just changed to "Mystaria" for the US release to appeal to D&D players or what... Blazing Heroes was a good step down from it. They should have just stuck with Riglord Saga.

So it went Riglord, Mystaria, Blazing heroes?

Yeah, Riglord Saga, Mystaria and then Blazing Heroes. Whenever I talk about it, people think I'm talking about Blazing Dragons. By the Way, the name was changed somewhere in the print run because I have a U.S. copy of Mystaria.

Well it's got more to do with then they just didn't like anyone using it. TSR obviously had to have had the name trademarked at the time. Which legally prevented anyone else from using it.

There was a Riglord Saga 2 released in Japan. It's all in Japanese, though. Personally, I didn't like the first one.
