The books (at least the first 2) are far better then that POS and much better then the movie too.

Now as for the comic itself i have this to say.

Those dirty bastards. How dare they have the marine utter "groovy" after decapitating 3 zombies and then wasting a butt load more with a boomstick, er, shotgun. That's just blashphemous to everything the good Book (of the Dead) stands for.

Yeah, couldn't get past that second page where the Marine's yelling "Dynamite!" - apparently that was one of the more horrific/memorable points, though, as they put a smaller version in their write-up...

Looking pretty funny to me. It was getting pretty lame so I just looked at the bloody art on each page.

I found it funny just by looking how lame it was. It does bring the sort of 'Doom' feel to me though.

I didnt read it all, but wasn't there a part where he goes "I'm radioactive, thats not good!"? I swear i saw that somewhere before.

Kinda makes ya glad the actual Doomguy never talked.


However, had this been a Duke3D comic i'm sure half of what was written wouldn't seem so inappropriately cheesy.

Maybe I'm just insane...But I didn't think it was that bad. OK the story isn't going to win any awards, but the art wasn't terrible and the pacing was good. Maybe I just need to go to bed LOL

Oh, and the part where the Doom dude punches the Cyberdemon in the stomach and then runs away.. sensational.

And the comic was more faithful to the actual game.
