A nice little quote from it..

"When we first watched it, we thought, frankly, 'what the hell is this?'," said Jack Sorensen, executive vice president of worldwide studios for THQ. "The main thing is getting it in your hands. Once you do that, it's pretty intuitive. It's not about more buttons. It's about ease of use for consumers. ... I'm surprised and happy with the direction Nintendo is going."

Sounds promising. I will probably buy a rev, and I don't really buy modern consoles much. I like the direction nintendo is going in terms of experimenting with new things instead of just taking graphics and buttons to the nth degree.... and a console shouldn't cost $400 either. Sign me up.

I have to admit I'm still on the fence about the REV.

On the one hand it could very well be the next DS. Panned by fans, praised by devs, then praised by fans when the awesome games start hitting.

On the other, I don't want to stand in front of my tv to play games. After hearing about the two sensors placed next to the tv, I fear this is how it'll have to be played.

We'll see I guess.

I'm very excited as well.

So far, I'm thinking the only thing the PS3 has going for it is that agaeia chip (and the rest of the superior graphics thing). OOH, physics! So now you can have leaves curl around realistically when blown by the wind! Nice, but I'm very much looking forward to this new concept.

im looking forward to picking up all 3 systems. I hope developers figure out what the hell to do with that new controller!

I hope they have a new Warioware at launch. If they do RCM will cum in 5 second increments till i beat it...the game.

I have to admit I'm really looking forward to getting my kids one of these. This is going to be the "fun" system to have. Unfortunately, as usual, it won't have any real in depth "seller" or "niche" games like sports, rpg's, SRPGS, shooters, fps, etc...

Most of those don't bug me, but I play almost exclusively RPG and SRPG. I have every intention of getting a ps3 and rev. I still don't see the reason to get a 360, other than live (which admittedly, is tempting)

I don't think that there's any way I'll ever own this system anytime soon unless the $99.99 launch price rumors are true.

I can only imagine how the new Smash Bros. will play.

Hopefully, not like ass. But my hopes are high nonetheless.
