Master System 2 RF, begone

I'm sick of the RF output of my SMS2. I know there is a guide to build a SCART cable into your system (http://www.mmmonkey.co.uk/console/sega/mikeg-rgb.htm), and for that I'm currently working on building in a female SCART jack, so I only need a SCART->SCART cable to get it working. I'm also interested in adding audio and video RCA jacks to the machine as well - the guide isn't as clear on how to do this. Could someone explain this to me?

I strongly advice not to use a female SCART. SCART connector is big, hard to mount securely and the contacts become loose over time/use. A DIN connector like the one the one mmmonkeyman used here (http://www.mmmonkey.co.uk/console/sega/sms2-av2.htm) would be a better bet.

Or you could just get hold of a French SMS2 - they're RGB-capable out of the box ;)

But IIRC, several of the older Commodore monitors support RGB anyhow, so you could always just play on it if you did this, could you not?

Yes but he's in the UK so he doesnt need a converter for an American TV..

Elusive, if you modify an SMS2 with RGB and output to a DIN socket, you could purchase one of my Sega Master System RGB Scart Cables...

I sell these on eBay or you could buy directly ;)
