I just got Mario Kart for DS and would like to see what the online play is all about. Don't have a wireless router yet though.

Anyone here have one for sale that's compatible with DS WiFi (and other systems like PSP and 360)? Don't care if it's used or boxed. Just want something that works good and isn't a pain in the ass to set up. Also need at least 2 ethernet ports on it too.

Just an FYI,

I know Office Max was running a pretty good deal on a wireless router that works great with my DS, and I know another forum member who has it and uses it for his Xbox and other systems as well.

LinkSYS, regular price 79.99, sale price is 49.99 after 15 dollar instant rebate and another 15 dollar mail in rebate.
(I know, I am not fond of mail ins either)

I think Frys has a simular deal, but the unit they are offering has the speed booster package on it as well.

I think they are only offering the 15 dollar rebate though :/

Thanks a lot for the tip, CN! Might pick one of those up if I can't find a better deal on a cheaper, used one. Anyone?

isnt there a way to use a pci card that will give the DS online capabilities? then you wouldnt need a router if i understand this right. Its like a pci card with a big antenna coming out. I seen these for way cheaper than a wireless router.

Is that a PC thing? If so, I've got a Mac so I wouldn't be able to use it.

Just checked out the one I have with me at the moment. I'm giving a good deal on these. I'll have to double check on the Linksys to make sure it has everything in the box.

I think you might be mistaking that for a wireless PCI card. Its what you add to a desktop to allow it to work with a wireless router. And pricewise, they are about the same, or perhaps even more expensive than a router (depending which one you get). Linksys routers and cards/adapters tend to go around $70-80 Cdn.

Thanks for the link but I can't use that. It's not Mac compatible.

For gamers who do not have a compatible wireless router, and do not wish to purchase one, Nintendo offers the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection USB Connector as an alternative. Unfortunately, this device is not compatible with Macintosh systems.
