Right on, brother!
Have you seen THIS?

I have a complete US Dreamcast collection as well as some very cool imports (Ikaruga, Space Channel 5 II, Manhunter, etc). I love it. It's got great games, great homebrews, great emulation titles. It's even got Half-Life!
Mmmmm.

I gotta admit, I got my DC late last year. And it's logging a TON more time than any of my other systems. I'm sad that I didn't know about it and support it when it was still on the shelves.
I am embarrassingly addicted right now to 18-Wheeler.

I got my DC late last year and between the cds I won that I kept and the ones I've bought recently I've been playing it more then Vice City or my PS2. Most recent games I've bought and really been enjoying have been Sonic Adventure and Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver.

Man do I love it. Got it on release day, which REALLY triggered the collecting bug in me. So many fun games, so many fun accessories, SO many dance and rythym games....I'm in love with Ulala.

One the coolest things with the DC also is its uses in the emulation field to play various old games from Atari to SNES!

I got my DC when I was in Japan, and then soon got a PS2 also. But, I hardly played anything on the PS2. It was always the DC! But, nobody in Japan would believe me. If you think that the DC is under-rated here, it's probably worse in Japan.
DC fans: if you can read Japanese, Hundred Swords, Culdcept 2, and the Sakura Taisen series are things that you should check out.
And, then the Emulators (NES and Atari 8-bit especially) are awesome. VCD support too! It's a shame that it died the way that it did. :-(

DC emulation is one the reasons I wanted the system also! That and it really does have a decent library of games.

hehe, I <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 X's 1,000,000,000. It easily logs the most hours of all my systems. Being able to sit in bed with the keyboard and play old ass sierra and atari 800 games kicks ass. Plus sega games just plain rule!!! I never thought anything would get more play than my intelly, but I'll be damned the DC does't.

The DC kicks much ass for 2D fighters and shooters. 2nd only to the Neo for fighters, and 2nd to the Saturn for shooters.
I hope games continue to be released for the DC in Japan, and it continues it's "Neo Jr." status.
Just look at this amazing roster of 2D fighters.

You guys...
Don't get me started on how great the DC is...
I'm mean its a frickin' Naomi arcade board in a box!
My faves include Crazy Taxi (still the best version, even with slowdown), Daytona USA (better than the arcade version), Soul Calibur (also better than the arcade), Mr. Driller, Dead or Alive 2, and the oh-so-relaxing Alien Front Online.
This is the system that got me excited about games again.
Which reminds me -- anybody got an empty DC box with styro they want to sell?
I know this ain't the selling thread (before somebody jumps on my back)...

I do think that the DC is one of the best systems ever. I'm STILL buying games for it and now I'm starting to import for it too! I'm at 30 domestic titles and one import (Ikaruga) and I have 3 more imports on the way now: Cool Cool Toon, Macross M3, and Frame Gride! Now if only someone could hook me up with San Francisco Rush 2049 and Zero Gunner 2 for it......

Nightmare Creatures II

Sonic Adventure LE
Xtreme Sports
and the manual for Mortal Kombat.

I love my DC too. I got mine at the stroke of midnight 9/9/99 as well. I even managed to find the official Sega blue shell for it. I'm trying to find another one (in any color except yellow), but all I can find are the 3rd party ones. In any case I have many great memories with this system:
Quake III: Arena: I spent sooo many hours of my life playing online, it's not funny. Plays great, looks great.
Cacpom 2D fighters: Between the DC and the Saturn, what more do you need? (Although I am dissapointed that the Saturn version of SFA3 actually looks better than the DC version).
Virtual On OT: Acrade perfect bliss.
Alien Front Online: Simple, yet addictive gamplay, and online play is simply hilarious with the microphone.
I actually wasn't surprised that much when Sega pulled the plug on the system, although it did sadden me...
