Because not everyone has the opportunity to pay retail for it at the moment. I'm with unwind on this, every one of these 360 threads gets treated like a port-o-potty at a construction site. There's no reason to act like you could just hop in your car and go pick one up.

With that being said, bjeong1381 you should just ebay it because people here aren't foolish enough to pay double for it or whatever you are looking for.

The $400 offers are BS and you know it. He didn't list a price, however, he also said no lowballs. If you're saying that $400 is not a lowball and honestly believe it, you're just a moron. Look at eBay. $600 - $650 on average. $500 - $550 on a message board not to deal with some eBay loser/ridiculous fees? Yeah, that's legit. Price of the system? Get real, especially a week before Christmas.

Indeed... over at NTSC-UK we have pretty much BANNED the resale of Xbox360s to prevent people from ramping up the price. Maybe we should do the same here...

While I may laugh at the prices the 360 are demanding, even thinking it slightly disdainful people are asking them, It's not our place to criticize. If we criticize this, then we must also criticize everything else.

How about the people scooping up the last of the Mario DDR's with the purpose of Evilbaying them? What about Suikoden II being sold above retail? How about finding Stadium Events for a buck or two, and reselling it for hundreds? Where does one draw the line?

Out of the examples I gave, one is still commercially available even. Two are not. Why is mario alright to sell with a 100% MSRP markup, while the 360 is not?
