I'm going to be travelling to both Orlando and Fort Myers in between Christmas and New Year's. Are there any game shops I ought to patronize in either of those cities? I'm primarily into pre-NES stuff so anywhere that has a good selection of that sort of thing is what I need. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

There is a group that is at some of the flea markets down there. They are called Video Game Trader. I found a lot of good prices from them when I went down there in July. PM and I will get you a number.

There used to be a huge flea market down on Centenial Ave in Orlando. I believe it was past Orange Blossom Trail. It's been about a decade since I was down there so it may no longer be around.
If you can get to Jacksonville, there are some awesome flea markets there on Beach Blvd along with several thrifts (the humane society one always had loads of games).
Enjoy Florida!!!

Are these fleas you guys speak of in Orlando or Ft. Myers, and are they weekends only or all week? I'm probably really only going to have free time for game shopping as such in Ft. Myers since in the whole time Orlando I'll be more or less confined to the theme parks and hotels.
@Jagdiesel: Probably won't be going up to Jax, although I'd really like to. I used to be stationed at NSB King's Bay, one hour north of Jacksonville. Jax was "the big town" you wanted to go to on liberty if you ever wanted to have any kind of fun.

Uhhh...out of the 14 year I've lived here, I can't say there are any good stores besides for the ones located at Flea Markets. You should try hunting down a store on OBT or I-Drive. They got some nice places.

With the overcast, is was 65 degrees all day long. Now it's down to 62. I may put on socks later tonight!
Fort Myers is barren. Anyone here familiar with Naples/Tampa?

There was a great one at the Daytona Beach Flea Market that was open Friday through Sunday. Haven't been there in a couple years so I'm not sure if it's still around.

I also like the Rhino video games. Especially in Ocala area.
