Edit - I count buying a xmas present for yourself as buying something you would not have normally bought had it not been considered a present for yourself :) IE I bought me and wife animal x'ing for the DS, but we would have probly bought that anyways.

Well I picked up myself the Sin City extended dvd and I found Animal crossing ds for a cheap price so im not sure if will get that but who knows

still have some gifts to go before i will do that.

I bought myself Castlevania - Legacy of Darkness finally. Been wanting to play it for years now, especially since I enjoyed Castlevania 64 (yes, it had its flaws, but it's not nearly as bad as everyone has made it out to be over the years).

Hopefully one of these days I'll have time to play it through and record videos of the Hedgemaze :D

I got myself 10 new N-Gage games but I was going to get those no matter what time of the year it was.

After christmas with some of the money I am going to buy Star Wars Battlefront 2, and I dunno what else.

How is that game and how does it compare to the first one? I've been thinking about scoring an NGage just for Pathway to Glory and Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, but this might be a third game I need :(

I haven't really played it much yet (i'm sure its at least as good as the first though). I got all those games around the same time so I've been working my way through High Seize and Rifts first (two games you should add to your list). High Seize is pretty much Advance Wars for the N-Gage.

I don't generally buy myself new games due to lack of money. I stick with thrifts and flea markets, but in the last couple of weeks I treated myself to Legend of Heroes for PSP and FFIV for GBA. They will keep me going for awhile. Those are the only things I have bought myself lately and certainly the only things I will buy myself before the new year.

As far as purchasing myself a Christmas present, I am on the verge of buying a receiver hitch/ball/lock for my pickup truck. I have also been eyeing BOTH of the DP guides for a few weeks, but the Classic one is sold out :/

I was actually going to purchase the guides last year, but never did get around do it... Maybe once "classic" is in stock, I'll be able to pick it up

I bought myself Mr. Driller for the DS. I only played my first Mr. Driller game (the Dreamcast one) a few months ago, but I am addicted now! That game will be going on the plane with me to Sydney to see my family and friends over Christmas, since I've already completely finished Sonic Rush. :(

I'm also buying a new piano when I get back. ;)

I bought a lot of 35 Turbo Grafx games including Aero Blasters, Jackie Chan's Action Kung Fu, Night Creatures, Raiden, Samurai Ghost, Soldier Blade and Somer Assault. With case and manual (or just the manual if it didn't come with a case) :D

Not videogame related but I went to Sears yesterday to get my son's present and did some looking around while I was there. They had The Simpsons Monopoly on sale for $19.99 so I had to get it. I've been wating for an affordable copy of this game ever since Spencer Gifts had theres for $59.99 CAD. It came out later at WalMart (and others) for $32.99 but that was still a little too much. I already had 3 versions of Monopoly at the time.

As for Christmas gifts for myself...

I got a package for the GOAT Store that was actually MUCH bigger than the original one. While I really won't be keeping much of anything from it, it did come with a copy of NBA Courtside for the GameCube new, which I probably will keep for free :D

I picked up Donkey Konga with bongos for $29.99 through NewEgg and will probably do Donkey Kong Jungle Beat shortly. I also got about 12 games thanks to that crazy Toys R Us sale. I wasn't planning on getting anything else, and now I literally have nothing on my list that I'm even really looking at beyond a couple DS games... which I'll probably get with the X-Mas gift cards I got, if my TV doesn't die in the next couple weeks (I moved it yesterday and it looks like it has SERIOUS magnetic interference in the bottom right-hand corner, but there is absolutely nothing even near that part of the TV except for the TV itself. It's about 15 years old though, so if it goes down I can't complain.
