OK, We have Radilgy coming and on lik-sang site they have "Ring age" listed as a pre order.... a 4 player rpg coming sometime in 06..... Is there anything else?

Could money not be profited by Porting the latest snk stuff to dc in japan like Samurai showdown 5 or Metal slug 6? or maybe porting the of the old and new naomi games.... for instance maybe a d-direct version of the latest naomi/

Samurai showdown 5 was released on neogeo cartrigealong with the latest metal slug.... yeah, I think the used version goes for $200 LOL and then ported to xbox @_@ ?!? yeah that'll sell real well LOL
It just seems to me that the types of people that own a dc, are gamers that are into the 2d capcom/snk offerings the most. though, the dc install base may be limited, I thing when you compare the ratio of likey purchasers of a 2d game like samurai showdown 5 on xbox vs dc the numbers on dc would be higher.

LOng live Katana 128 8-) everyone suport Dc's latets game, "RADILGY! " :)

There isn't enough money for SNK to port those games to the DC, when they have a license to publish on PS2. PS2's user base in japan is MASSIVE. DC's was never that big.

It just makes sense, profitwise, to ignore the DC entirely. Radilgy is only coming out on that because the license is cheap and it's already been developed on equivalent arcade hardware.

It'll sell many times more on xbox than it'd sell on Dreamcast.

Also, the Xbox is simply a better system for 2d games. More ram and a faster drive means it'd be easier to remove the load times (was it Last Blade 2 on Dreamcast that had the shit-tastic load times?).

Plus the default xbox control pad is bomb ass awesome for neo geo games, in comparison to the default dreamcast controller which has a terribly designed dpad and uncomfortable buttons.

Oh, and the Xbox version has online support, something that you wouldn't see on the Dreamcast version (rip :( ).

so...

1) Available for a modern console
2) Retails for $30 in the US when it comes out next month (as opposed to being japan only and costing $60)
3) Based off of the latest version of Samurai Shodown V
4) Online gameplay
5) xbox's oh-so-hot dpad for many hours of comfortable fireball motions
6) See point 2 again. It's very important.

Just be a sport and buy the Xbox version when it comes out next month. We need to show support for US releases of games we like.

Money itīs good for a company. If the company doesnīt have any money, the company is broken. SNK doesnīt have enough money. SNK is dead. Thatīs the sylogism (i donīt know if i wrote it ok, please correct me).

This has a trailer for it and play-asia are taking perorders.

No offenese porting, SS5 seems like a waste now, SNKP would do better now porting, Samurai Shodown 5 Special to the Xbox 'at least.

Re: Cover art

I am totally into that chick on the right. Ms Ninja and I would definitely make her the meat in our sandwich. If we were illustrated as well, of course.

It's like a double fetish. Ninja Maids? Hell yes.

Ditto for the Cowgirl Ninja of Oane-Chapara.

On a total tangent, what are some other great multi-fetish-fulfilling female game characters (other than pedophile goths)?

The new Samurai Shodown game that came out a few months ago. Basically it's like samurai shodown special in terms of having a massive cast from the older games, but with just about ALL the characters, plus a number of new ones. It also lets you choose what game's engine you want your character to use, similar to Hyper SF2, or CvS2.

It's supposed to be absolutely fantastic, and comes out on Japanese PS2 in a month or so. US release date-who the hell knows?
