downloading atari2600 emulator??

i have just downloaded this great site but having problems downloading one or any of atari2600 emilators could anyone give me some guidance on the forum please?
i downloaded the emulator and bios file needed but cant run it proper what am i doing wrong?
be helpful someone already done this to give me a few steps online many thanks chirpydog.

You're going to need to give us more info. What games are you trying to run? Which emulator? What kind of errors are you getting?
