i just ordered mine from cc, but if you used one of the tracking websites, a couple stores have htem in stock now. but cc is the only one that allows you to buy the console without any games. next time gamestop has that buy 2 get 1 free deal ill pick up some games. till then, its halo 2

You have to remove the game and the memory card when you add it to your cart. You HAVE to purchase the additional wireless controller.

IMO, anyone who really wants one right before Xmas would get it, if he/she looks around hard enough around all stores in his/her areas in the morning. My local TRU had 5 units (Premium) and it took a whole day to sell them all, they did, however, enforced bundle deal, requiring you to buy 3 games and one extra control pad.

Had MS supplied second shipment to most stores one week earlier, many more units would've ended up on eBay, this could be MS's strategy to reduce resellers by holding units until a few days before Xmas.

I despise bundle enforced deals. They never pulled this crap back in the 8 and 16 bit eras....well...at least at the stores I shopped. I think it would be safe to say that the whole "shortage" ordeal is simply a marketing ploy. Rightfully so for them, to get their product sold and increase the hype before Christmas.

I just feel sad for the dope that pays 1G on ebay for a system that will be everywhere at retail price after the holidays.
