i don't remember what chip is in this console, but it has never given me any problems. it can play backups (NONE ARE INCLUDED) and imports with ease. all you have to do is put the disk in, and it will figure everything out from there. it comes with a big xbox controller (the ones xbox launched with).
mods, delete this if it is against the rules. i know you can't sell backups, but im only selling the console without any games.

How hard is it to put in a bigger hard drive? I may be interested in it. I have a little bit of money left over from my gameboy and gamecube sales that I can get it. Also, does it come with everything to play it, and what condition is it in? Please let me know,
Tony

its console, power cbl, vid cbl, and big controller. the only thing i know about putting a bigger hd in is that you have to hook the hd up to your computer, bless it using a program, and then swapping it with your xbox hd. thats as much as i know, not sure on the program or anything
the console itself is in great cosmetic condition. it says mod on the top in black sharpie (barley visible), and no major dents in the system

Nah.
I can't testify to the difficulty of the process as of yet however. I'm still doing the xbox mod =\ fucking bios flash isn't going well.

if your xbox is modded, hard OR soft, you can change the hd.

NOpe. Just connect the new hard drive to the xbox´s ide cable and power cable. And boot up the xbox with the SLAYERS disc. It will install the dashboard and LOADS of apps for the xbox...its fool-proof
