Is it just me, or is this actually true?

I've been checking out my Genesis games so I can sell them. I noticed one part of the white colored insert was slightly yellow. I thought it was sunfaded. Then, when I took the insert out to check it again, it was white. Was my eyes playing tricks on me, or was it the plastic sheet that made it look sort of yellow'ed?

Anyone have something like this as well?

ummm yeah, here's the thing, plastic yellows over time. All the dirt and grime and sun fading that didn't end up on the paper? It's on the plastic sheet.

Sunlight will probably increase oxidization of the plastic, but chances are, it's just plain old oxidization....happens to most plastics. It happens.

If someone could manufacture Genesis cases that had UV resistant plastic sleeves, and still remain inexpensive (like < 1.00 ea, bviously a pipe dream) that would be sweet.

Store your games and protect them from harmful UV rays and sunlight, and possibly long term acid damage (from some plastics) too.
