Given the director, it's to be expected. I'm honestly looking forward to seeing just how bad the movie is. Uwe pulled out all the stops in House of the Dead and then somehow surpassed its shittiness in Alone in the Dark, so I'm really hoping the trend continues with this one.

The man is good at one thing, and that's making some downright horrible movies.

GO UWE GO!

Yeah I saw some pictures of the movie and even that told me it was going to be shit.

The woman looks nothing like Bloodrayne (?) and the costume looks like shit.

If this is true I must see this movie. I would love to see a drunk man act.

I didn't even bother to see AITD after house of the dead.

AITD was just boring, I downloaded it a few months ago and man I'm surprised I got past the first hour. I don't know how the hell he made AITD soo uninteresting, or why anyone in the movie wanted to have anything to do with such a dull script.

There are already reviews out for Bloodrayne, most of which said that the actors/actresses seemed very uninterested in everything that they were doing.

Thankfully the little tax loop hole Mr. Bowl has been using will be fixed next year, so looks like his movie making days will be put on hault.

Was he drunk when he signed up for this movie?

If the actors came clean and said "Yeah, i did the movie because i had a house/car payment coming up." I'd understand.

Uwe's movies make Sci-Fi's movies look like Oscar contenders.

First time I saw the chick they cast for BloodRayne, I gagged. She was the worst choice. She looks nothing like her and I'm afraid to see her acting. I HAVE to see this movie out of morbid curiosity - to see how bad it really is, and to see if it's so bad it's funny (like House of the Dead). I'm going to wait a loooong time to see this movie. My boyfriend and I will be waiting for the DVD to be traded into GameStop since he can rent out used games and DVDs for free. I wouldn't even waste the $3 to order it on OnDemand. LOL.

But, one consolation - Michael Madsen is in it, and he kicks ass. And if he's drunk throughout the production, it will at least put some comic relief into the "film"

I get emails from Boll.. the last was for the "Mankind" Music Video. that is right Alice Cooper and Kristanna Loken join forces to bring a Bloodrayne music video to Life...

Alice Cooper lends his talents to the video "Mankind", while Kristanna Loken shows she has the chops to stand side by side. The video will be available online and will likely be making its television debut in early 2006. "This video brings all the elements of the film together in one great package" said Boll, "it allows the viewer to experience the look and feel of what they expect for the film."

Bloodrayne opens nationwide on approximately 2000 screens on January 6, 2006. Bloodrayne is the prequel to the successful and highly stylized video game of the same name. The film stars Kristanna Loken, Sir Ben Kingsley, Michelle Rodriguez, and Matt Davis. Additional cast includes Billy Zane, Meat Loaf Aday, Udo Kier, and Michael Pare. The world premiere is taking place at the infamous Mann’s Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Blvd., January 4, 2006.

Alice Cooper is rock 'n' roll's foremost legendary statesman of outrage is far beyond reproach. With hits such as "I’m Eighteen" and "School’s Out", not to mention the number one record "Billion Dollar Babies" , Alice Cooper not only has earned immeasurable creditability, but an undying fan base.

Kristanna Loken, best known for her role as TX, the "terminatrix" in Terminator 3, comes out fighting as the lead character Rayne in this dark, sexy vampire film "Bloodrayne". Loken can currently be seen on the cover of the January/February issue of FHM.

Boll may suck at making movies but he does know how to work the movie business. He has done everything outside of the Hollywood system. By partnering with Bill Zane's new company, Romar Entertainment, "BloodRayne" has been sold directly to the theater owners, bypassing the Hollywood studio system completely. After raising the $20 million to direct the R-rated horror film on loacation in Romania, Boll worked with Romar to buy the national marketing campaign, which includes in-theater ads, billboards and national TV spots. Unlike the typical movie system, which magically erases any chance a producer has in seeing a return on investment (it's called Hollywood math), Romar shows where every dollar was spent. And Boll gets to retain the rights to merchandise the film and own the property for sequels. (If the first film performs well at the box office, a sequel with star Kristanna Loken is planned.) In total, "BloodRayne" will get the equivalent of a $25 million media buy, although at a discounted cost, thanks to eliminating the middle man.

I expect "In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale" will be the one where he finally gets it right...

IGN posted a review of this months ago. They said that while it was still pretty awful, it was probably Uwe's best film so far.

Thankfully the little tax loop hole Mr. Bowl has been using will be fixed next year, so looks like his movie making days will be put on hault.

Ahh, so that's how he was doing it!

Here's a LINK (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=74433) to another BloodRayne movie thread if anyone is crazy enough to be interested.

And no, I don't give two shits about "do a search before you post next time"... I was suprised as hell that someone else would have bothered with this topic - since I was a little embarrased to start one in the first place! LOL

*shivers* My Lord... It looks terrible.
