I beleive you're think of the ability to use WMPC extender on the 360 to control a WMPC that's functioning as a DVR.
Note: Tivo is not a generic term, learn that.

No, but it's fast becoming one don't you think? Much like Kleenex, Band-Aids, Popsicles, etc..... All of those are techinically brand names, but they are used as generic terms. Because they have become synonymous with the product itself.

You must have a 360 plus a PC that's running WMC 2k5 and a tuner card to use that feature.

No, it isn't. Trying living outside America. Kleenex and Band-aid are universal everywhere in the world, but Tivo is only really in the US and that makes a big difference.

The only difference is someone being picky.
Because Kleenex might not be a term used to refer to tissues in the hills of New Guinea doesn't mean it doesn't qualify, so I think Tivo does.

Now who's being picky? Tivo is not even in the same league as Kleenex.

Only it doesn't use any space on the HD at all.

The word will become coined since the English language is always changing. So I it really looks like Tivo is going that way.

I agree that Tivo isn't universal, but neither is band-aid. I can go with Kleenex although no-one refers to it as a Kleenex, thats just a huge brand. I don't think most people over here would know what DVR stood for either, its the first time I've heard it.
