Well the gift I got has some meaning.

As some of you know, I was trying to have a complete star wars saga on vhs. i ran into the dilemma of one of the movies (ep 3) being in pal.

for x-mas, i actually got all 6 star wars movies on dvd.

I got the 1st 3 movies (1-3), and then I got the full screen boxed set of 4-6. I wanted this fullscreen set just for the fact that the spines match the spines of 1-3.

I also got a couple n-gage games new and sealed from my roomate:

My Mom called me from Ohio (I'm in Florida) at the last minute (Dec. 24th) and asked if there was anything else she could get me to fill in the gaps.

I told her about the Toys R' Us $9.99 sale and read her off games to look for. She called me up and said the shelves at TRU were bare and she only found 1 game for my brother.

Flash foward to last night, my parents arrive in Florida with their car PACKED full. My wife and I start to help unload an I noticed lots of DVD sized presents......HAPPY!

Well, hit a few pawn shops tonight and one had a great PSX haul:

All complete and in great shape, for $40. Considering I would have probably payed nearly that much for the SotN, I was a happy boy. :)

And after finding Chaos Field at Gamestop last night, it's gonna be a good, long weekend of shmupping.
