I'm trying to get the genny 2 motherboard out of the case so that I can paint it, I took out all the screws which held the rf shielding in place, but I can't figure out if there is anything else holding the motherboard in place.

More screws. There are two beside the cart slot. They are black. There may be more, I can't remember.

That's it. Just do that and you should be ready to go. But do not paint it in a hurry.
When i painted one of my G2s, it took a few weeks. I had to get all of the dust out of the cracks, I had to choose the paint, I had to use mortite and tape (To keep the paint off of the parts of the system that i did not want painted)
Anyway, what paint are you using? I used Blue Krylon Fusion paint.
