I have the psp version changer but its not doing anything for gta for psp.

Oh, yeah. GTA: Liberty City Stories doesn't work with the version changer at the moment. Update to 2.00 and go ahead and play it. DO NOT update to 2.01, 2.50, or 2.60. You CANNOT go back to 1.50 firmware after updating to 2.01 or higher.

the thing is firmware 2.0 and up provides a video codec required by liberty city stories to work.
so yeah piracy, emus or liberty city stories.
I caved and have 2 psps

I got a PSP for christmas and it came with 2.5 i think. :(

I refuse to bother with the hacked stuff until it's completely ready for prime time. For now, I'll enjoy any PSP game I want to play on it.
When it's ready, I'll play emus too I'm sure.

Granted most of the GG stuff isn't really great, but that's not the point...yeah...one PSP.
Sure the PSP's got enough resolution to do most old consoles natively with no squashing but...ugh...I'd just go with the firmware updates myself.
