Horray, I get to start a new finds thread! And just to spice things up, I'm presenting my pictures in "NEGAVISION!"

I hit TRU in hopes of getting Geist for ten bucks, but unfortunately, they knew nothing about it, and coped out to saying that the sale was "for $4.99 and up, so $49.99 is part of the sale". Blech. But I did somehow find lone copies of Golden Sun 2 and Advance Wars 2, both leftovers from the original $10 game markdown, which I snatched up. And when I walked over to Best Buy, they had Geist on sale for $19.99, so I got it there alone with SSX 4, also $19.99. I figure I'll go back to TRU later in the week and see if the whole price thing's been cleared up yet and if so, just return Geist to BB.

I stopped at Goodwill for the first time this month with low expectations, and actually found a sizeable amount of NES games with sleeves. Most I already had, but I snagged Gauntlet 2 and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. And as a bonus, snagged Wedding Singer at Circuit City for five bucks.

Overall, not a bad haul. :D

Although not all video game-related items, I had tremendous luck today (besides the fact that I have the whole week off and my mom had this day off, too :P):

To begin my day, I took a trip to Borders to see where my recntly aquired $10 gift-card would get me. I got the new issue of the Megaman NT warrior manga, plus a few lindor balls* (*chocolate candies). I did not get, however, the CD-holders that I needed :(. I have nine cents left on my card; just enough to pay the tax on my next purcase!!! ^^;

After a few minutes of browsing the bookstore, we shopped at the mall for quite some time. sadly, there was nothing really good at EB games, but I did manage to still get a couple of interesting items (still no CD-holders, though)...

First, I stopped at the Namco arcade to cash-in some tickets. It was interesting to talk with one of the employees, who noticed that I had some of the "old-skool" variations of the tickets. I got two Pac-Man notebooks... and a tootsie-roll :roll:...

Next, I went to Barnes & Noble [yes, another book-store :/], where I had discovered my ultimate find for the day; using the help of a nearby clerk, and with the purchasing-power of my $25 gift-card, I had obtained the lengendary DISC O-ZONE!!! (The album in which the "Numa Numa song" originally came from)

I got the CD, along with a case-opener that was only a buck :), and STILL had $6.00 credit; now thats what call a good day.

I went to Goodwill and got a cdi in the box for 19.99.

it came with 1 controller and all the hookups. it was supposed to come with space ace, but it didn't, so I neded up going to the local game shop and picking up space ace and escape from cybercity.

I Picked up Total Overdose and FAR CRY at EB the other Day.
I wanted to buy Far Cry used..The three used copies on the shelf all said $49.99 so I was ready to leave-forget about it as the store had a line.. as I looked around my wife stood in line with TOTAL OVERDOSE since I decided to get that instead..
I told her to ask for a used copy of FAR CRY,hoping they'd have a used copy for less then $49.99..The clerk says no used copies(WHAT? @@ with three boxes on the shelf)..but we do have it new for $29.99...Ohhhh sweet!


EB has FAR CRY new for the XBOX for $29.99..You just have to ask as used copies say $49.00 and no new copies on the shelf say $29.99.
The New sealed copy will have a $49.99 sticker on it
