it looks good!! I may be in the minority but I liked Saturn's 3D graphics... it's not "realistic enough" to be confused with "real life" but I like that aspect -- hey, it's suppose to be a video game!
But anyway, awesome vid

Shenmue would be 7 discs on the Saturn. Actually, probably 6, since the passport disc wouldn't be present.

There are scenes from Shenmue II in the video as well! I wonder if Shenmue 1 for Saturn was ever completed.

That's pretty awesome, it shows the Saturn could really hold it's own with the PSX/N64.
Shame the system was pretty much dead by this time though. :(

That's an awesome video. I've seen bits and pieces, but never one that long. Shenmue I/II is one my favorite games of all time...
The Saturn video is impressive. I wonder if it really would have run that smoothly as a released game.

AMEN brother, this was and still is a great system, I enjoy my saturn all the time, and I appreciate the graphics, and the games for its time, some of the stuff was ahead of its time, what a great system.. thank you sega.

Looked pretty neat. Better than I thought it would look like for it being on the Saturn. If that were able to be released I don' think the N64 would have been so dominating.

Man, that was cool!
I would love to see more..or to even find a beta copy of the actual game.
I also really cannot wait for Shenmue III, I didn't even know that it had beed confirmed to be made. On the XBox 360 too....yaay!

Nice, I have only seen the shorter version. Wish someone could get there hands on it and release it for the Saturn, if only in demo format. :)

Hunh? Where is this confirmed? If you saw that weird video, that looked VERY fake and I wouldn't trust it until Sega themselves confirmed it, which I really doubt will happen.

For those that don't know, this video came on Shenmue II - it's available to view after clearing the game. It's been floating around on the net for years... very, very cool stuff.

Yeah, your right...I am quite gullible. I did think it was a "official" teaser. I did some research on the video and it seems to be a fake...sorry for jumping to conclusions.

The Saturn had a very high-end Yamaha sound processor that was underutilized due to shortcomings in some of the systems other's areas. I've heard that Saturn Shenmue actually used this sound processor to process some of the GRAPHICS. Anyone else heard this? Can someone shed some light on the subject?

I would considering pretty much anything about Saturn Shenmue as pure speculation at this point. Nobody even knew it was anything on Saturn until the video popped up, IIRC.
