A May Japanese launch has yet to be revealed by the Big N. Furthermore, it is rumored that the Revolution will be manufactured in China not Japan, and the console doesn't even have an official name. While possible, strike this one up as highly unlikely.
Seems to good to be true. Unless Nintendo is being EXTREMLY secretive about the "revolution" they'd have a final console, concept, controller, name, without no one knowing. Seems fishy.

So Nintendo's going to reveal more big aspects of the system at E3 mere days before (or perhaps even after) releasing the system? :hmm:

I think it's clever: Launch while the system's still on everyone's mind, and everyone is amazed by it. They should launch a week after E3.

Newsflash, Nintendo is always hyper-secretive, but that aside i agree that this does seem a little fishy. Great if it's real, but fishy.

This was verified as a rumour immediately after it was posted.
Hard to make a system when IBM doesn't even have the chip finished. And besides, it's hard to trust a source who translated from a russian site that was translated form a german site that was translated form a japanese site that doesn't have the notoriety that Famitsu or Kotaku has.

I'm still shocket that they have not come up with an actual name for it yet.
and the console doesn't even have an official name.
I never understood why they don't just stick with "Revolution." They've already acheived attention with this name, so why switch it?

Nintendo DS wasn't supposed to be the official name, so for all we know it will stay revolution.

Agreed on the point you mentioned, and also because I happen to like the name. Sounds better than Xbox or Playstation.
It could be possible. The revolutions is an amped up GameCube.

Quick ?? (sorry if it has been answered), would you have to play Rev vertically? Is there any way you can play games horizontally? I personally ain't comfortable playing games/systems vertically (prone to scratching)

Yeah, it'll work either way.
