Is there any method or substance for removing sticker residue from N64 boxes without warping the box?

I use Motsenbocker's "Lift Off #2", just don't over wet the surface and you should be fine.

Yep, Goo Gone or Goof Off. I like the Lift Off because it was free. LOL No, really it works great without any oily residue some products can have.

Goo Gone is the only thing I use to clean stickers off any of my gaming stuff.

For marker writing, I use Very Sexy For Him cologne from Victoria's Secret.....a small spray on a paper towel and the marker comes right off.

Rosenol....or however its spelled, lighter fluid also works wonders on stickers and markers.....

What the hell? The cologne is strong enough to remove a marker, yet people spray the stuff on their bodies?

That stuff works on boxes???
Sweet!

Way back when i was trying to remove a sticker from a NES box i got and not thinking i used rubbing alcohol X_x
Good thing it was on a mostly destroyed Gotcha! box.
I would have been very saddened if it was one of my nicer looking ones.

Anyways those are good tips for me to know :)

What do you do to remove sticker glue from the upper half of a compact disc / gaming CD?

Personally, I wouldn't EVER appy stickers to my compact discs, but that is precisely what some dolts have done to the secondhand copies that I have bought from them.

I have a copy of Resident Evil: Code Veronica for the Dreamcast that plays great, but cannot be considered mint for the simple fact that there is sticker residue on the front side of both discs. :/

Goo gone, lysol cleaning wipes (kitchen grease grade), and Mr Kleen magic erasers (like scotch brite pads, but they remove sharpies....like little Billy's name), Q-tips and isopropyl...these are my arsenal-lot against idiots that DEFILED old school games....

Goo Gone works for me and Mr. Clean erasers work wonders on the marker spots. Be very light with the goo gone though, you don't need alot of it to remove the stickers.

Yep, Goo Gone rocks, but it is hell on 2/3 of N64 games (Japanese ones, in my experience fair better). At least, when you do any amount of rubbing. Make sure the Goo Gone sits for 5 minutes before you wipe to really soak into the glue.

YMMV with Goo Gone on CD's .. stripped the writing off CDI games before with it.. I think it depends on what ink was used.

Test on a small small spot first =/
