Bought a copy off a local collector and he claims its rare.
Anyone know its worth? Its complete with the gold cart, manual, slipcase and box.
Game is in english.
Thanks!

I saw a guy over here sold some brand new copies of it, but the boxes had shelfwear. I think he asked for like $40, but what saw they didnt sell. Maybe he got a bid at the end, didnt check.
I'd say that they are rarer than the smallbox european release atleast. The asian Link II also had small box i know, maybe a normal size box too?

The one i have is the small box (similar to the pic someone posted in this complete european collection). Extremely difficult to find any info on asian releases and i've been asking around some local hardcore retro gamers for info. So far none of them can tell me exactly how many games were released.

Ye, I dont think its very easy to find. But I also dont think the demand is that high for it, therefor no superhigh price on it. Maybe if you find a diehard Zelda collector :)

It's freaking hard to find! Do you have pictures and/or link(s)?

I was under the impression that this one was one of the easier ASI games to obtaine...?
(Based on that I've seen a lot of collectors have this).
But after some searching I see that it's kind of "rare".
I've got a boxed one, btw.
I believe that I have one of those too, actually, that I am looking to sell if anyone is interested. In regards to rarity: I like to think that it's rare, and worth a decent amount of money, but on the other hand, like some others have said, I think that maybe there is not a super demand for it either.

Wow this thread's actually been revived? Been 3 years since my last post. Anyways, I've actually managed to get a handful of asian released NES games during this period. Most are in excellent condition and I don't mind providing pics and ID codes if anyone's interested.

Please do provide pics and codes, they would be great for the database.

I do have both rare NES Asian Zelda. It is indeed freaking rare and impossible to locate a mint gold cart. Mine is comes with the manual and box. Only a true hardcore Zelda collector would die for it.
Here is the picture of my rare mint Asian Zelda. @_@

Haha, well hopefully someone can up the demand sometime soon, so that I can cash in on the one I have :)
