I just got into collecting for the Gameboy. I wanted to know if there were any sites on the internet that could give me lists of games released, system variations, etc?

I believe dp sells a great book that has all the gamboy info you are looking for as well as other systems. It is the collectors guide the advance edition. They also have a seventh edition that covers other systems as well. It is worth every penny.

I am just starting to get into this as well, but this will be the ONLY handheld I ever collect for, because it is the one I played as a kid. The only games that I will collect are MINT condition and COMPLETE, tough I know but worth it eh?

That's exactly why I am getting back into collecting for the Gameboy!

I started a collection about a year ago, just going through picking out games that I enjoyed. I was a very very casual collector. I only collected complete copies of the games. But now I am more focused on the hardware side of collecting. Looking for mainly Gameboy Pocket and original Gameboy systems.

I think the largest knowledge base for GameBoy collecting lies in DreamTR's head.

I agree with that. I kinda feel bad for the guy because he's been stuck on the same damn games for months now. Anyone who goes for a complete boxed GB collection needs to have a lot of time on their hands or some damn good luck.
