Who's getting a room at the Plaza?

We should plan ahead, so anyone who wants to party Saturday night can have adjoining rooms. I had two connected last year, and it was a BLAST. However, the neighbors complained about the noise, so we had to quiet down. I figure if we have a whole section of CGE party folk, we can have a massive party and make as much noise as we please.

Can you imagine a whole floor dedicated to nerds having video game parties? That would RULE.

No, that's the correct hotel, but what I want to know is, how DO you get adjoining rooms? I wanted to see about this last year and didn't have a clue!

I will definately be getting a room at the Plaza. I love the whole "old Vegas" experience downtown.

Don't count me in on being a part of a "block." I'll have the mizzus with me and she's not gonna be too keen on a DDR jam going on next door at 3 a.m. But I *will* be making the nighhttime gaming rounds as she sleeps, so let me know where you guys are.

Oh, and this year, we'll organize the McD's pre-CGE gathering a bit better. Everyone wear your DP shirt this time (like Jaime did last year). If it weren't for her, NO ONE would've know who to hook up with!

Ah... well I believe I was only a fairly recent newbie to DP when they came out... when exactly DID they come out? Anyhow... now I'm part of the "crew" I figure I should have one at least ;)

I call them pre-slot machine bathrooms. Man, the Plaza is pretty slovenly. Still, I'll be there. Perhaps the penthouse suite with Mr. Jackie Gaughan himself. Who? Did he win the place in a bet? And he was the loser? Whoa! Tough crowd in here. No respect!

Let me brag that I stayed at the Four Seasons (heavily discounted for a wedding) housed in the top 5 floors of Mandalay bay, and they had nicer broom closets than the Plaza has rooms. Travelodge will never seem the same again.

Is it time to book that trip already?

I have already bought my ticket, it only costed me $25 straight from
the CGE web-site.

I will be booking my hotel and flight soon as well. Does anybody know how far is the Plaza Hotel from the NY NY Hotel?

Funny you should ask - I'm expecting them TOMORROW!

These are the "new style" shirts, with funky red and white highlights like the site. Very slick but not in hand yet. As soon as I have them I'll have the page online. The goal was to have these ready for Philly this weekend =)
