Here's a case mod for the PStwo that will allow you to have an internal HDD.

Seems you only get the new bottom and you use the top part of the original case. Very cool though, and especially now that EEUG's SMS is starting to get very good.

What is the advantage to this over using the BBA?

Nothing technically, but you can't use the HD with the PStwo (slim line) because they isn't enough room in the case to house it, and the network adapter is built in. I suspect this is what the mod is for... PStwo owners to be able to use the HD functionality (and HDloader etc).
