Excemptionally nice! I love PAL stuff. I didn't used to appreciate it, and some of it still pisses me off (CD32!) I've since grown to be facinated by it.
You guys got some great PS1 and Dreamcast games that the States never got... something on the order of 200 more PS1 games, in fact. I'm sure a lot of those were football and/or football management (is that right?) titles, but I have a couple of very cool-looking PAL shooters and platformers that I'd love to play but can't.
And you guys got Deep Fear for the Saturn! Bytches.
I dare you to get the entire PAL 32x collection...

Nice shit man, shame about the PSX stuff tho :P
How many blue-boxes are ya still missing? I can only spot a couple I've got that you're missing - Addams Family Values and Death & Return of Superman ;)

give or take one or two, im missing roughly 50 Blue Box PAL MD games (51 if SoRII came in Blue in Portugal).
Apart from that there are around 40 PAL PS1 games im missing
Death and Return of Superman is a total arse trying to get although World Championship Soccer 2 and Champions World Class Soccer are just as hard to find, if not more

Dood,
Blue box Genesis/Mega Drive games look so much better than the red box ones.
I am actually jealous of that.

well to be honest i don't know shit about Mega CD so i have no idea WHAT exactly the late style cases are or what makes them different
this is the one i have

That's the normal cover. The later-style games are those with the black "MegaCD" stripe down one side of the cover.

Then i don't need to worry about missing one (whew....cant afford to spend anymore recompleting a completed collection) hehe.
Ataribuff what did you mean by that PS1 comment? Is confused.
I'll keep ppl updated as new games arrive but it looks like it'll be a slow start to 2006 games wise. I'm trying to complete my Foo Fighter 7" inch vinyl collection (only missing two) you have no idea how hard learn to fly on 7" is on eBay.

For the love of god don't do that to me! Every time I think I have my missing list complete something else turns up, and I thought it had happened again!
Looking good Gary, oddly enough my first impression of your blue box pictures was that you'd picked up a load of DC games recently, took a second for the penny to drop :embarrassed:

haha, sorry for scaring you two ;)
btw, i'm finding quite a lot (well, compared to other systems that is) MCD games in the wild so if you'd pass me along your want lists i'd try to grab stuff for you whenever i spot sth, obviously a lot of stuff is going into my own collection currently though

Dude as far as my bank balance will allow, my MCD collection is complete. I only really wanted the late release 50 since there were tonnes of rare ones in that bunch. Now complete it with spine cards, thatd be interesting!
If you do happen upon a blue box copy of
SEGA Six Pack,
Champions World Class Soccer
World Championship Soccer 2 (with or without instructions)
Death and Return of Superman
Seaquest DSV
Star Trek DS9
or if it exists,
Streets of Rage 2
then give me a buzz

I have seaquest and death and return of superman in blue box and let me tell you they are not easy to come by!
In all my time I think ive maybe seen 2 copies of each here in Aus.
Nice collection by the way, my friend had the complete pal MCD collection before he sold it ALL!,
I will try and get some pics of my PAL SMS and MD gear.

PAL scares me.
Any time i try to figure it out i find out i was wrong about something.
WAY to many region variations(well for NES at least)
But i also love it because there is so many different things. Always something new to be found.

Hey, pretty sexy collection you got here 8-)
For the blue streets of rage 2, I've seen a blue cartidge once, but never saw the box. Maybe it was a classic reissue (like championship soccer 2) ?
The star trek popups there and then on ebay france with nobody bidding on it. Always a bit pricey for me (like 10~15 euros) so I waited till this week, bought one for 5 euros.
Why don't you follow anagrama and join us on http://www.guardiana.net ? :D

If you do happen upon a blue box copy of
SEGA Six Pack
Say what? :eek 2: Does a boxed version of that exist?
And yeah, you should come over to Guardiana - the language barrier isn't too much of a problem thanks to several English speakers, and the database is pretty awesome now thanks to the help of PAL uber-collector TonyB80 ;)
And @ izret - the regional variations for the MD are nowhere near as bad as the NES (the majority of titles only have one version), although more are continually popping up...

If you do happen upon a blue box copy of
SEGA Six Pack,
Are you going for Brazillian imports Gary, or am I missing something?
@ Hydrox my want list is pretty slim now, just the following odds and ends, plus anything unusual sealed:
Battlecorps - German Back Cover Variation
Battlecorps - Paragon Publishing marked demo
Bug Blasters
Jurassic Park - French, German & Spanish versions
Mickey Mania - MegaSega demo.
Sewer Shark - pressing without the BBFC logo on the disc
SoulStar - German Back Cover Variation
Star Strike
Tomcat Alley - German version (or anything other than French)
