I am trying to find a few RFU adaptors for my SNES and NES and can not find them. There are some on ebay but I do not think they are the ones I need.
I could also use a couple NES pin connectors as well
Can anyone help?

Try going to your local used game store (whether it be EB, Gamestop, an EB/Gamestop, or whatever) and they should have some. Its a fairly common thing to see in one of those bins of used accessory crap. You should be able to snag one for a couple bucks.
Either that or post in the Buy/Sell Forum looking to buy one. You should be able to get one for virtually the cost of shipping.

If you have a TV that takes A/V Jacks you can simply go to walmart, radio shack or where ever and grab an X cable that hooks into A/V ports for your NES. As for your SNES you can pick up a gamecube A/V cable at just about any game store it's perfectly compatable w/your SNES.

There is no point in using RF unless
a) your tv gives you No other option
b) you prefer muffled sound, and grainy, fuzzy video
If you can, use the AV outs on your NES, and get an easy to find AV cable for your SNES.

Well said.
However, if I recall correctly, the SNES (NOT the NES, people!) does not have any AV outs; which kinda sucks, cause my TV doesn't work well with RF's, and I once got TWO SNES' w/ about 7 loose games for $20 bucks and I had to trade them in because of this :(.
btw, you can usually get 72-pin connectors from game stores; sometimes, the manager(s) likes to keep a few eight-or-so NES' "in the back" for spare parts. Otherwise, you'll probably have to go online (x_x...uhg... x_x).

You can. I think you could also use an N64 A/V adapter.

The SNES, smaller SNES, N64, and GameCube all take the same Nintendo family AV multi cable - one of the few things Nintendo ever standardized. In fact the RF box for them is all the same, the N64 used a convertor block that the good old NES style RF box plugged into. The smaller SNES doesn't have an RF port but in THEORY I suppose you could use the N64 convertor brick since it's the same Nintendo family AV multi out.

There's a C, and a D.
c) Nostalgia. I have mine hooked up with the RF adaptor because of the nostalgia factor.
d) The A/V ports on the first model NES come out of the side of the system. WTF?

If you have an S-Video capable display, get a Gamecube S-Video cable. I'm not sure if it works with the mini SNES (I'm pretty sure it doesn't support RGB, but I dunno about S-Video), but I can personally attest to the fact that it works beautifully with my original US SNES.

I gotta disagree with nostalgia on C. It's like having nostalgia for a bad cold, or a flat tire. LOL
If one is big on "RF nostalgia", but you are using composite and RCA cables (or better) you can anjoy "RF nostalgia" without RF cabling. Just put some wax paper over the screen, and block the TV speakers with muffling books. There you go. :)

I do disagree it's not that bad, but I think there's a Nostalgia factor as well. especially since that's how i had it hooked up even up until the ps2 but it's all good :)

RF vs S-Video is about the same to my eyes as black and white vs colour.
I'll stick with the wax paper statement. :P
