Um, ok.
That's an Australian site for starters, that used to be linked to a few stores in the Sydney area before they all went out of business for being outrageously expensive. Please note that the prices are in Australian dollars, so they're not quite as expensive as they seem on first glance (but still proposterous).
Final Fantasy III was never released in PAL territories, so naturally, you would expect a game like that to cost a lot more money. Add to that the fact that it's a freakin' Final Fantasy game, and you've got a logical purchase for some morons over here. Hell, someone recently bought a boxed complete Chrono Trigger for THREE HUNDRED AUS DOLLARS at the store my boyfriend works at (another non PAL release).
Thirdly, the people that sell the games determine a price and then retrogames add their price on top of that, further ripping people off. And did you see that loose NGPC games are being sold for up to $50 on there? That should give you some clue about the calibre of this store.
I guess I don't need to tell you to stay away from buying from them, since they're rip off merchants, huh? ;)

just about 90 percent of all the ebay stores the games are way over priced.then on top of that they charge outragoues shipping. I actually thought the snes games have come way down in price.

They also have piss poor customer service.
I bought some games from them a while back, for a reasonable price, on ebay. Got them, and they were in fairly poor condition that had not been made at all clear on the auction - but it wasn't horrendous, and I did get a good price so I left good f/b anyway.
Then, after browsing their site and finding a few things that I actually wanted, I emailed to see if I could buy them and basically they just fobbed me off continually with all sorts of excuses about how hard it was to arrange to accept payments from & ship items to the UK - even though I offered to get an Australian friend to pay for me, or to do a bank transfer.
Or sometimes I would email about something and they would just update the site to have it shown as out of stock, even if it had been "in stock" for weeks or months before, right up until I emailed.
Basically, seem to be the "Telegames" of Australia. Purveyors of overpriced pap, and highly disorganised.
