Last Game of '05, First Game of '06?

So, what was the last game you bought yourself in 2005? And what's the first game you'll buy yourself in 2006?

For me, I believe the last game I bought myself in 2005 was Metroid Prime Pinball for the Nintendo DS. I always liked Kirby Pinball for the old Game Boy and thought this would be cool to play...and so far it is. On the same day, I actually also bought another, one of those TV Games Plug & Play joysticks, the Pac-Man one.

I haven't completely decided what my first gaming purchase of 2006 will be, but there's a couple I'm considering...Gun (probably the XBox version) and the DS version of Mario Kart are the likely contenders. I want to be absolutely certain I'll enjoy whatever I get since I've decided I'm going to limit myself to a maximum of 20 game purchases over the course of 2006.

Last game I bought myself was Dragon Quest 8. Awesome game and I should have picked it up sooner.

First game in 2006... well.. if I don't pick up a DS soon, it will be either Rez for the PS2 now that it is cheaper, or Legend of Heroes for my PSP.

Last game of 05 was probably Planent Of The Apes for PSX @ EB (have to recheck the receipt to be 100% sure)... First game of 06 will probably be Mario Tennis for GBA

Last game I bought in 05 was Meteos for the Nintendo DS, first game of 06 will probably be Mega Man X Collection for PS2.

The last game I bought was Zelda II for the NES, but technically the last gaming item I got was an Amiga CD32 with six games that was retrieved by my wonderful father :)

The first game for this year... when I get home tomorrow I'm putting money down for the PAL release of We <3 Katamari. It may not be the first game I actually take home with me, but it's the first I'll pay for! Wheee, I can't wait for this game, I love the first Katamari.

The last game I bought was an Atari 5200 Missile Command but it was sealed and I don't mean to open it. The last one I bought to play was Mario Kart DS.

The first game I want to buy this year is Gorf Classic for the JagCD which may be out soon. Otherwise it will probably be a random Atari game or the next cool DS game that I see :)

Last in 05: Ford Racing 3/Ford Mustang The Legend Lives 2-Pack

First In 06: I'll probably either buy Ferrari F355 for the PS2 since there's a copy in stock at GS where I am going to college, or I'll go buy the ATV Offroad Fury 2/NFS:HP2/Splashdown 3-pack at Bestbuy, and trade in the Splashdown towards the F355.

The last game I bought myself was Legend of Heroes for PSP, and I bought my first game for 2006 today. A near mint and completely complete copy of Pirates! Gold for the Genny. Not a bad way to start off the year.
