That stinks! I would have really loved to see how that would have worked out, Street Fighter mechanics versus Guilty Gear. Would have been on my buy list.

Ya I didnt see it untill I was surfing checking out the atomiswave and looking at the games for it. Have you played rumble fish?

After playing a game with Mars People vs Mud Man, I'm not sure I could play any others!

Yup, I've played it at great lengths, both at our own Robotron's weekly game night, and at my friend Brandon's, as he just got the game yesterday.

It's absolutely fantastic-one of the best fighters of the past 5 years. All the fluff is excellent-backgrounds, music, animation, high res sprites. The gameplay is totally solid, and thanks to the massive amount of beta testing SNK put the game through, it's not horribly broken like say, SvC, nor terribly unfun like Capcom Fighting Evolution. Mr. big is the best character in the game, to be fair, but he's not that much above a good chunk of the cast, so some familiarity with the game, and the proper character selection, and he can be dealt with relatively painlessly. Assuming, of course, you have the active fighting game base like we do here that would use the hell out of him :P

I dig the lineup, and I LOVE the gameplay. Highly Recommended. I also hear rumors it's going to come out on Xbox 360 at some point(hopefully this year), and if it does it's a system seller for me.

That's the main reason why I prefer Mugen since it doesn't change the mechanics of the fighters you play. When they release games like that someone always changes everyone to something else or equally crappy.

That would never happen due to the ridiculous cost of the Marvel name now. They were supposedly losing money with MvC2 because of the name at the time.
