On the back of the outer box for the Genesis 6-pak game, I was looking at mine today and noticed that where it describes Streets of Rage, instead of saying three characters it says "Tree" characters. DOes it say this on all of them? I thought it was kind of funny when I saw it.

Yes, now you too can fight the Oak Street Gang with the Tree charachters: White Pine, Eucalyptus, and Maple!

Mine says that as well, funny, I've never noticed that before.

Hmm I am looking at my copy of the US version and the Streets of Rage description is as follows:
Streets of Rage
The ultimate in street combat! Three characters, 40 moves and a relentless onslaught of weapon wielding thugs!

So no, I guess mine doesn't have the misprint. Strange.
We are talking about the US version right?

It should be "weapon-wielding". Ha!

Actually it is written on mine as simply "weapon wielding", no hyphen. I assume that your version has "weapon-wielding" yes?

We need more people to contribute so we can figure this out. 8-)

We are talking about the english version, FYI so there is no confusion.

And mine reads and I quote

"Streets of Rage"
"The ultimate in street combat! Tree characters, 40 moves amd a relentless onslaught of weapon wielding thugs!"

And i just noticed that instead of saying and it actually says "amd". Someone must not have proofread.

I have the "Engrish" version. Never knew there was a corrected box.

After some searching I found a pic of the back that my copy looks like.

Which copy do you think would be rarer?

Mine says "three" as opposed to "tree". No hyphen in between weapon and wielding.

Thanks for bringing up this amusing (if trivial) topic.

Perhaps the Engrish edition of the 6-Pack is more valuable than the proper English edition. Perhaps the opposite is true.
