Found a couple of good GC games today:

Cubivore :)
Resident Evil 3: Nemesis

Paid $40 for Cubivore at Gamestop but the game was top notch condition. RE3 was $30 but I had store credit at the place where I saw it so I didn't have to pay anything out of pocket for it.

Also from last week got these guides from Bradygames.com

FF VII
FF IX
FF Origins
GTA 3
Zelda Ages & Seasons pocket guide

Only $24 after shipping.

alec: I think I still have mine from when our local cable carrier got big and forgot to ask for the Sega Channel adapters back...

but a cool find nonetheless!

-sailorneorune

P.S. I'd love to know how many of you also miss the Sega Channel. Closest thing like it now is Gametap, so it seems.

I love the Sega Channel. Best excuse to not do homework back in '96.

It seems like it's been ages since I've found something worthy of posting about in one of these threads but today my luck changed:

http://home.comcast.net/~norkusa/dark_tower.jpg

Dark Tower! Scored this at a local thrift for $2.99 today! I've wanted one of these ever since I was a kid. I knew they used to sell around $100-$150 on Ebay but I almost had a heart attack when I saw that mint, complete copies sell in the $300 range now. This one is only missing a tiny plastic flag piece but I found a place online that I can buy a replacement from. Still haven't decided if I'm going to keep it or sell for 360 money. :P

So far this week:

Via Ebay:
Mega Man X (SNES): $8.00+$2.99 shipping (like new)
Xevious (NES): $0.99+shipping (like new)

Via Gamecrazy:
Gradius III (SNES): $4.99 (Label slightly worn, cart was dirty but I cleaned it.)

I'll probably go back to Gamecrazy for 2 complete (though I didn't check inside, so it might just be box. Hopefully not.) Genesis games, Shining in the Darkness and Phantasy Star II, $12 and $20 respectively.

Picked up an extra KC Munchkin cart at Goodwill for $2.50.

They also had Freedom Fighters, Alien Invaders- plus and Invaders From Hyperspace, but I passed on those for now.

When I opened up the box, somebody had put in a catalog which shows Ufo! but not KC Munchkin, so it must be from about early '81.

Nice Bonus.

Picked up GB/GBC (yep, one of those black hybrid carts) Konami GB Collection Volume 2 - I was hoping it'd have Antarctic Adventure on it, but alas i'll have to make do with Parodius (and Track and Field, Quarth - but called 'Block Game' for some reason and Frogger) for $AUS15 loose at a local pawnshop. $AUS15 not so great, I guess, but as I said, I was hoping for Antarctic Adventure... still, I reckon it's worth it for Parodius.. and I can get rid of my GB cart of Quarth now.

Also, in the mail was a new GC Pikmin 2 from a great guy in #rgvc.

Picked up a couple things at EB today:

2 for $AUS50 new: PS2 Fight Club and PS2 Midway Arcade Treasures 3

$AUS12.95 second hand: PS2 Myth Makers Orbs of Doom

Orbs of Doom (oo-er) is a decent looking Super Monkey Ball clone, although perhaps not as amusing as the Hamster game I've seen kicking around. Also, Fight Club should be called Potatoes, 'cause I had to mash like mad to get anywhere. Maybe I should read the manual.

Dang, that must a freaked game. The only non-Japanese KoF 2000 AES games made were produced by NeoGeo Freak. Although this site says they got the rights to do this from SNK, the inserts, label, and manual are merely copies.

Wow, some of you people have great finds here. Especially with the free PS2 and Free NES stuff.

Anyway, i went to EBGames today, hoping to exchange my PSP for one that does not have as many bad pixels. I failed there.

But i didn't fail in finding anything.

I was looking through the Common N64 Stuff. An employee asked me if i would like to see some more N64 games. I said Sure. He brought out a whole boxfull of COMPLETE, Like new (I wouldn't be surprised if they were not brand new) N64 Games. They came with Everything. Manuals, Inserts, Box, (In very good shape) And even plastic for cartridge.

I only bought two, though. (Wich was dumb to not buy more, although it would have been dumber to not buy any)

Starfox 64
Twisted Edge Extreme Snowboarding

Cost about $6.50.
