just saw this on the warppipe forums thought you guys would like to see

"Wow, this is crazy. Alpha Dream, the company behind the Mario & Luigi series, recently spoke to Nintendo Online Magazine in Japan about their latest game. A little ways down in the article there is a picture of their early DS development kit! And people say the current DS design is bulky!"

Aparently it was what they used to make the games when all they knew was that the DS would have 4 face buttons and 2 screens.

Its so ghetto.

Love the two GBAs wired together... LOL

I wouldn't be surprised to find out that's a joke image, really; the shells of an original GBA and of a SP are clearly visible.

read the artical that it came from that alpha team made it using the known facts of the ds out of bits they had lying around. So they could test games on it.

That would be an interesting piece for the collection. especially with whatever they had programmed on it.
