You know, the cases for some of the EA Genesis sports games that are exceptionally wide? Tony Larussa baseball is an example of one, and I believe the first Madden game is as well. I really just need the cases (ideally in nice shape), but I could be convinced to take the game carts too if I absolutely had to. I'm admittedly not looking to spend much on these, so I don't want more expensive stuff like Madden Championship (which also has the wide case).
Let me know if you've got any and want to help out. Thanks.

Are these the same cases EA used on all their games? If so, I've got a couple on my trade list I *think* are in good shape.

Unfortunately, they aren't. They are thicker than the usual EA cases. If I had to guess, not having any in front of me, then I'd say they're about 1/2 inch thicker from front to back. If you line them all up and look at the spines, and any stick out as being particularly "fat", then you've found 'em. So far, I know that Tony La Russa Baseball, Bill Walsh College Football, Bulls Versus Blazers, and John Madden '93 are of the correct size.

Crap. I was so looking forward to getting rid of my F22 and Thunder Hawk, or whatever it is. ;)

I think I have an extra PGA Tour 2 at the house. You can have it if I still have it. I will check tonight.

Already have the house - just building an addition. The thicker boxes provide better insulation during cold New England nights.

Just for general information I believe I saw some site selling replacment game cases, I'm not sure if they were official or not, probably not though. As for the size comparison between regular ones and these, regular Genesis cases are 1 1/16" thick and these fat EA Sports titles cases are 1 5/16" thick. And to be honest the Tony La Russa Baseball Case isn't big enough for all those stat charts and cards not to mention the huge manual it has, suffers from Dragon Warrior Syndrome. By the way do all copies of that game have a sticker attached to the cover insert that advertises 26 team stat cards?
I'm also looking for replacement regular sized Genesis and Master System cases, I wish could find that site again. Well if anyone has any of these I'd like some.
