My favorite game for the ngcd is Metal Slug. This game totally fucking rocks.

I would have to say Magical Drop 2.
I like the MS series a lot but I can play Magical Drop 2 over and over, especially 2 player mode.

Samurai Shodown RPG.
I like the battle style option. You can either flip through menus, or go Sabin Figaro style with people's special skills.

Agreed, great game, SNK did a fine job with this.
So far my best one so far is KOF 97 needless to say I dont have jack for NGCD games.
Got some great games on it but I'm way too focused on my AES at the moment.

I haven't gotten an NGCD. Sure, the games are (usually) less expensive, but there's the loading issue. There's another problem in the redbook audio...just direct recordings of the chiptunes to CD. I don't believe many Neo Geo games had 60 minutes of audio, so it would've been possible for them to put awesome remixes. Or am I wrong here? (I did get ahold of...ahem...an archive of NGCDs, all of them, but I only listened to the audio for NAM, so maybe I'm wrong).
It would be nice to have one just for Samurai Spirits RPG, and some of the games that weren't released to cartridge.
Sweet system with a huge amount of memory, but the market didn't want it (the main processor would've been outdated by the time it hit the market, though the sound was still good. Why on earth would they record audio to CD when they already had the Yamaha chip in the system, I wonder?)
