Saw this in Nicola’s “interesting finds” post and decided to pull it out. It’s quite rare to find a proto that hasn’t been dumped yet!! I recall the last one (bio force ape) which turned out to be a fake, created a huge argument on weather to dump the rom and release it.

Anyway, what do you guys think about this one? Looks real…. Guy says he’s also selling a sealed U-force controller…. Possible ex-employee of Broderbund. How much do you think it will go for? It’s already at 500+ with 9 days left!!

NES RARE UNRELEASED
U-Force Power Games

1990 FINAL ROM Never Published !

This cartridge is for the US Nintendo 8-bit NES system.

This game is possibly the RAREST NES cartridge you will ever find on eBay - PERIOD!

"U-Force Power Games" by Broderbund Software. This auction is for the cartridge ONLY.

This cartridge REQUIRES a U-Force analog controller to play the games. These games cannot be played with a standard controller.

This game was never manufactured and there is rumored to be only one or two versions of this game in existence. ROMS cannot be found anywhere on the Internet.

I also have a perfect, brand new U-Force controller in the original packaging that will be going up for sale next week.

There are four mini-games on this cartridge: Hose 'Em Down (fireman shoots water into a burning building to save people), Nuclear Rat Attack (like Whack a Mole with rats), Rock on Air (play instruments by waving your hands in the air) and Power Field B-Ball (simple basketball game).

Please read the following CAREFULLY:

AS THIS IS A ROM IMAGE THAT CAN BE EASILY EXTRACTED WITH THE PROPER EQUIPMENT THERE WILL BE NO RETURNS ON THIS ITEM! NO EXCEPTIONS. NO RETURNS ACCEPTED.

Screenshots in this listing were taken using the actual cartridge you will receive.

He didn't state "prototype" in the title, just unreleased.

is easier to find! eBay shoots randomly over the prototype collecting community!

Wait, why'd it get pulled?!

Most likely someone wanted the game but didn't want to have to compete with everyone to get it. A bidder or watcher probably emailed eBay and got the auction pulled from eBay in order to remove most of his competition. I bet if you email the seller and ask he'd tell you that someone emailed him with an offer right after it was pulled.

How lame.

And regarding that Flying Dragon III cart... heh, I wanted to translate that game years ago. :p

Im going to say it was because of the mention of ROMS

Everyone is going to contact the seller and lowball him! Yay!

I am pretty sure it was the ROM mention as well, they have not been too keen on catching prototypes lately, and why should they? It's not "illegal" to own development copies of games....it's as gray as the "early" CDS you see for sale at the store for old stuff.
