Alright, I bought two copies of Donley Konga months ago because I wanted 2 sets of bongos and they were cheap. Tonight I finally cracked them open to play, and although both discs are labeled as Donkey Konga, both are really Wariop World, so I STILL can't play my bongos.

This happen to anyone else? Anyone have any interest in one of these?

Wa ha ha! That's really freaky!

I'll bet if you call Nintendo about it though, they'll probably at least supply a replacement disc if you send one of them back.

That's truly bizarre. Since this happened twice you just can't be the only one this has happenned to. I wonder if it is of any collectible value.

They were both bought together, so they had to be in the same case/pallette/whatever, and were likely printed up at the same time too. I had something similar happen with the 2nd layer of a Toy Story 2 DVD being from High Fidelity. Woody climbed into a vent, and then Jack Black was screaming about "Sonic fucking Death Monkey" I wish I had kept that for the shock value now.

Thank you for that, I laughed out loud.

Once again Jack Black makes my day brighter with his obscenities.

A few years ago I had the same thing happen to me at Target involving a movie. I bought a copy of Spies Like Us but when I opened it at home, it had a copy of South Park in it. So I took it back and exchanged it. Got home to watch it again and wouldn't you know it, another South Park. Later on I take it back and explain to the manager what had happened. We both went back to the video section and opened all the Spies Like Us movies and they all had South Park movies in them except for the last one. This is the first time I've heard of it happening with a videogame though.

Wierd.

I have had something like this happen to me, aswell.

Although it is with a smaller company.

I ordered a game, got a CD labeled as something else, but it was still the game i wanted.

quick question....are you sure you dont just have a copy of wario world in your cube....like are you putting a disc on top of another disc....and the bottom disc is the one being read....

...i did that once with a cd...put a cd on top of another cd in a top loading player and didnt realize the 1st one was in....when the music started, i was like what the hell...then i pulled out the cd and saw the other disc under it...

That is very strange. Does it look like there are two labels or anything? I would either return it or like someone else said call nintendo.

I'd keep 'em. Could be a waste of money, though.

A waste, maybe, But interesting, Very!

After all, it's not like you can just take 100 copies of one game and expect just one copy to be something else. This sort of thing does not happen very often.

It's just like coins that are misstricken. Ever see a 1955 Cent that was Double Struck? Worth a lot.

1955 double dies = thousands and thousands of dollars. (I am an ex hardcore coin collector)

In anycase i would keep them.
That is very cool though. I would still get in contact with nintendo about it though just to see what they have to say about it. Maybe you can get an interesting story(or maybe not so interesting) behind it and can share it with the rest of us.

Wow, I am SUCH a douchebag... this is exactly what happened. How in the world I put in 2 separate discs and removed them without seeing that I have no idea. Sorry to those of you that were interested, but this was a false alarm...

Wow...I sooo want that copy of Toy Story 2 LMAO

But about putting the game in over Wario World - that is sooo something I would do. I've done that w/my music CDs before but never w/my video games.

But, it feels good to feel stupid once in a while. With how egotistical mankind can be sometimes, it's good to get an occasional humbling. For some, like me, it happens too often, though. LOL.

I read a story a couple years back of a guy who bought a copy of Killer Instinct that had a Super Mario World chip inside of the cart...

Second hand? Somebody wanted Killer Instinct, not SMW ;)

If it was new that'd be interesting, though.
