I bought Nintendogs not thinking much about it, besides the fact that everybody and their mother kept going on and on about this game. I thought it would be a very stupid idea, but I bought it anyway (I am not sure what that says about me).

I started playing this game and I could not put it down. I don't think it is possible to play this game for less than 1 hour at a time.

Bah, only me and one other person chose Geometry Wars. I haven't played enough games this year I suppose.

I said Nintendogs only because a bunch of other DS games, Burnout Revenge, and a bunch of other games were not listed, although they will probably be in other awards.

Zoo Keeper is the definate sleeper underdog. Simple yet very addictive.
