Let's ferret out this "Bruce Wayne" behind the Batman of collections!

That collection is so amazing that it hurts my brain just thinking about it. He has 3 Peek a boo pokers. 3. Three.

Having a collection as large as that without an adventurevision is like having a PB&J without the jelly.

You mean that's not Joe's warehouse stock for the store? :?

That one used to be listed in the origional Room of Doom pictures a while ago. I'm trying to figure out who that is.
That is most likely, the biggest collection I've ever seen.

Hear, hear! I agree with Mayhem's plan. My room already looks like that...except...like...in scale with my Star Wars figures. LOL

I know I'm crazy when the first thing I think is: Nice shelves.

My gameroom in progress pix are coming soon.

No, that's me, too (damned Macs and game bins taking up a corner of the basement)!

Very nice, looks like a section of bookstore... O:

Could he have only the second complete US PSX collection I've ever heard of?

Let us all pray that an earthquake never hits the place.

Man, that mirror makes it look double the size. Many of you may have missed that cuz I know it took me a minute to figure out that my eyes were giving me a mixed message.

Massive, though...mirror or not.

This guy has one of the if not the most complete collection I have ever seen. That being said about a little over a year ago I seen a collection that I think was much bigger but not as classy the user had alot of cart only and in these picture you can see where the walls end in the picture of the other guys his basement looked like a warehouse the end wall was way way deeper. The funny thing that might have been this collectors cart only storage. I am curious to know
what people think when they go though the Halls Of Vallhalla.

I mean the immense resources it took to amass such a collection. I would love to read his story of how such a feat was done from start to finish.

One more note every now and then I look around my collection and see all the different games and often I think that each and every Item I have there was some sort of financial transaction involved. It sometimes scares me.

there is no mirror, i think rbudrick means in the first pic but it is not a mirror, 1) the "reflections" don't fit, 2) the guy making the photo would appear on the mirror

Holy fuck! @_@

I wonder how he reaches some of the games. The floor is full.

So are you guys just kidding about the id? And the 'flea market vendor' comments? And why the presumption about completion of collections- some people say: 'I have 1000 Atari games) when they really have a lot of identical repeats.

When I talk of complete I mean boxes/cases and I am presuming manuals.

I stand corrected. I never actually clicked on the link, as I was going by memory. I knew which collector you folks meant. Anyway, I came to this conclusion about the miror when I saw it months ago. Looking at it again, I can see I was wrong...optical illusion, I guess. Further inpection makes my original notion quite wrong. I thought the guy in the photo was visible toward the back right side, but whatever, heh heh. I am amazed all over again.

This guy is the Scrooge McDuck of videogames, swimming in his seas of carts and disks.

Everytime I think I am making progress with my collection I get stepped on, embarrassed and made to look like some trivial collector...TX for the images, now I have to raise my goals and sell a kidney on tthe black market to achieve it.

Truly awesome...where's all the systems though? Did I miss them?

I almost started crying....

A little overkill on the Genesis units...spares are good and all...

Always wondered if I should collect the variants of each system, now I see the cool factor and the OCD factor in all it's brilliance...guess I gotta do it...

Is it just me or do those kids look pretty miserable in a lot of the pictures? "Daddy, we know you love video games more than us, but can we please have some food today?" Haha. :P

Seriously, though, that's SICK, but very cool. :) I don't think I'd ever want to have a collection like that, though, seeing as I prefer a smaller collection that shows personality through an interesting assortment of unusual games and products rather than sheer mass collecting and overwhelming quantity. o_o

there is no smoke or mirrors in this room- i took some of the pics you are looking at. Neil is one of my best friends- no not because he has one hell of a crazy collection- we like to go shopping together.... guess what for....

he does not have a complete PSX collection- yet- but damn close- and so many sealed and variants- it's crazy. any one else have all the PSX Mega Mans with the pack in clock still sealed? maybe Dangerboy.

he's been at this awhile- and funny enough, but it is all that he does. when you can make your passion your business then you will always be happy!

That's one huge collection X_x X_x

What is he? Batman!?

NESVIDIOT

he is probably within 10 of complete PSX, I find it even more crazy when he told me that his largest collection by system is Super Fam. It's one thing to collect for a local system, but to import over 1300 Super Fam games from Japan- the shipping cost alone equals some collections.
His most valuable item is probably the SNES Life Cycle completely original with Moutain Bike Rally/Speed Racer.

Make sure when you look at his pics you dig into the albums! There are a lot of cool items you may never see anywhere else!

Some of the big collectors here will remember him from the 90's- he once sold off 3 cases worth of sealed Cheetahmen 2's

Right...1300 sfc games are hard to get,i have them too :)

I don't think i don't have less than this collection, but i didn't check out the whole pics...i didn't saw "great" games worth $2000 like my PCE Power League Gold hucard,or Tsushin Booster either, but well..

Import collections are way harder to get than domestic releases :)

Factory sealed ones even more..

Who does he get to insure it? I hope he knows (and everyone else here) that a typical homeowners or renters policy doesn't cover anywhere near this amount of electronic media. When I got our policy and informed the agent of my collection, he insisted on having pictures for his records. And he also said that certain games should be put in a safe deposit box since they're hard to replace and I wouldn't get near the amount that they're worth in the event of a loss.
