Hi, i love a lot of Williams arcade games in MAME, but when i want to play, in the screen appears: "FACTORY SETTINGS RESTORED" and the game never starts, what can i do??, this is common?, thanks and bye.

it should be fine if you close it, then start it again. the first time you start each of these games it will give you that message, just close it and start it again.

I have a similar question, Mame usually has a horrible time playing sounds on most Midway arcade games (Mortal Kombat and beyond), so I found when I switched to MAME32k the sounds actually played decently, but for some reason it won't let me play Revolution X, it is teling me "SECURITY FAILURE" or something like that. The odd thing is, the game runs fine on Mame32 .57 and the latest version, although with stuttering sounds.
Is there anyway around this, or an alternative emulator I can use?
