Nice little surprise today--anybody else have this happen???

I was having a crappy day today. That is, until I got a message that the Zelda Bonus discs were in at my local Software Etc, and THEY WERE GIVING THEM OUT TO THE PREORDER CUSTOMERS!!! :o I was shocked, and puzzled, because I thought they didn't come out until Feb 17th.

Well apparently, they don't. But the guy at Software Etc. said that the EB in the local mall was giving away the discs ahead of time. Nintendo found out, and said that my Software Etc. could do the same. Also, I guess Nintendo is really pissed at my local EB too. I heard talk of lawsuits and such. >)

So, long story short, I have the disc in my hot little hands, and I'm going to give it a play RIGHT NOW!! Woo hoo!! I was curious if this happened anywhere else, or perhaps its a national thing? Whatever it is, who cares??? Master Quest, here I come!!!!

I called my local Software Etc. and the new kid there was very rude, must have had a bad day.. It's going to be worse for him when I tell Penni and she fires him (I have a lot of influence there >) and like any mall game store, they can put 20 kids in his place in under 30 seconds ) anyway he said they weren't giving them out. When I asked if they had received them yet that is when he got cocky..
