View Full Version : Best DS imports?

I searched, and there was a thread similar to this, but it was nearly a year ago and results were inconclusive. Anyway, I want to import some good DS games, since it's the only current system I own with no territorial lockout! Anyone have some reccomendations for me? Please also list how much knowledge of japanese language is required to play the games. I read kana, but hardly any kanji, and my vocabulary is bad. thanks, i can't wait to start importing again.

If you pick up Daigasso you might want to get the GBA expansion pack too.

Interesting choices. I think I'm going to steer clear of Super Princess Peach, as I'll wait for the inevitable localization, and Electroplankton, because I've heard mixed reviews. On the other hand, I've heard fantastic things about the other three. Do any of them offer single cart multiplayer?

Band Bros. will let you do up to 8 with just one card. Not that I can find 7 other people that will play with me. Ha ha.

Jump Super Stars has single-cart abilities. Ouendan does not.

That's my list exactly as well. I have a few other imports, but it's just coz it was easier for me to get the import than to wait for the english one (like: Famicom Wars).

BLEACH DS by Treasure, if you enjoy 2d fighting, can download fully functional versus to others DS to DS.
