My apartment is VERY dusty, every 2 weeks or so i have to dust all the wood and glass/plastic/electronic surfaces. My gamecube was unplayed for only 2 weeks or so, and there was dust gathering in the ball of the joystick!

What can I do to prevent my apartment from circulating so much dust? What can I do to prevent dust fromg athering on all my games and systems? Are there any cheap air cleaners for this?

I have this same problem, I'm currently living in was once my parents garage but I built a studio apartment inside. However I still have an exterior door just beyond my front door and a space between the room I built and the door to the house where it's still garage (for the washer, dryer, water heater, storage, etc.). So I don't get a ton of dust except in the summer when I have everything open.

I've attempted to use air scrubbers but they just clog every couple days and need to be cleaned - which is a bigger hassle, but it's a start. Buy the cheapest one you can from a store you can RETURN it to if it doesn't work out.

Next idea is to take a couple days and go from top to bottom cleaning EVERYTHING. Disposing of paper towels, cleaning supplies, etc. in trash bags after use. Basically you're dedusting your apartment as much as possible.

And lastly, use dust resiliant cleaners. This is the only way I can keep surfaces on my workstation and entertainment center dust free week to week.

Could always also hire a maid. :devilish:

I have a huge dust problem for that very reason too. I simply use a damp cloth every 2 weeks.
