well i was bored the other day so i painted my ps2. nothing special really but i just thought i would post it. in retrospect i think it might have look better if i left the memory card covers and the face to the disk tray black. maybe next time.

btw the white spec on the top of the system is just light reflecting weird.

and here I thought you would need a certian type not just glossy. any brand?

Oh and I would have spray painted everything but the PS2 Logo. very cool none the less.

That color wouldn't have been my first choice, but it still looks cool. Good job. I love seeing pics of painted consoles!

Looks like halloween.

jk, It looks pretty good actually... I agree the black ports probably would of looked better, but it looks fine. You should change the led's to orange now

i took it apart and painted the pieces individually.

as for the ps2 logo, yeah, i didn't even realize that was there until after i painted it. but i would have left it had i noticed.

I don't know if you normally keep your PS2 vertical, but the first thing I noticed was you didn't rotate the logo.

Looks really nice. It reminds me of that funky color Pontiac uses on their old Grand Am's and on the current model Grand Prix.

How did you avoid blowing spraypaint up into the vents on the front?

the OP stated that he took it apart and painted the pieces seperately...so no internal components were there when he painted...

That is an awesome look. Orange is one of my favorite colors, so I really like it. Good job. You are inspiring me to paint mine as well :P
