I loathe EBAY and need some advice on how to protect myself.

I sold a Mario DDR on Ebay, last month ( The 23rd of December) The buyer lives is California I live in Ontario Canada) He paid for the game with Paypal, and I shipped it out on the 29th. (Expediate Canada Post) Since then he has emailed me every stinking day asking me where it is. I've given him the tracking number numerous times, the website to track it, and the phone number to call. Now he says he is going to cancel it if he doesn't get it soon. How can I protect myself? The game has been shipped and I don't want to get screwed.
Also his grasp of the english language is not the strongest. (Here is his last post) "hi,
right now i have still not recieve it. call up thier and make sure again. i have paid you last 2 weeks and still havent recieve it if its to long then i will cancel it and buy another one. send back to me as soon of possible to make sure and i will be waiting
thank you"

I told him to wait until the end of the week at the very least, due to the christmas break, and customs and all that fun stuff, what can I do other than hope?

well, first, I'd like to know how he can "cancel" it, that makes a lot of sense LOL

What does your tracking info say? Did it arrive? if you shipped it on the 29th, I'm sure its still possible it hasn't arrived yet, hell, someone sent me something priority mail on the 23 of Dec from Maryland just to South Carolina, and it didnt arrive until the 30th. 2-3 days my ass, USPS, thanks for the rate hike!

Is he a zero feedback bidder? sounds like he doesn't understand how ebay works, you don't get daily updates from people, thats what the tracking number is for, he's lucky to get that

I figure by "canceling" he'll try to get a charge back or refund through paypal. He is a relatively new ebayer, he has purchased 4 things since he joined in September. This is the first thing he purchased from Canada however. The tracking info says it's been sitting in Missisauga all week! Damned if I know why! Just hope Canada Post gets it together and gets it there this week.

Don't worry. You shipped it out. You have proof you shipped it out. If the seller decides to tell on Ebay/Paypal or whatever, you can let them know, as well as proof you got, that you shipped it out and it's the damn post office's fault. Not your's.

E-mail him saying you put it in your teleporter and it should be there in a few seconds...

Seriously though, some people are very impatient. I would tell him to quit harrassing you and that he can find out when it will be there with the tracking. You haven't done anything wrong, if paypal or ebay e-mails you or calls you to find out whats up, you have a tracking # and all that good stuff.. so you have nothing to worry about.
